Juggling Chickens!

I started a quartet of these chickens a few months ago and only finished one (which was gifted to my friend’s cousin). I wanted to add weight to these, but my sewing machine was broken so I couldn’t make a little pouch to hold the poly pellets. I got to use a friend’s sewing machine but didn’t have the pellets to fill them and sew them closed. Fast forward a few months and I wanted them done, so I finally grabbed the pellets, filled the little pouches and hand sewed them closed. They fit perfectly! Now I just need to learn to juggle!

The pecking order!

Guess what? Chicken butts!

Ack, these are so cute! Love the colours of the granny squares.

You could just use them sort of like hacky sacks and bounce them off your knees, ankles, etc.

They are so cute…bet they would make nice pattern weights for sewing… :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks, everyone! Sadly, there won’t be any juggling pictures. One of my friends said that her mom would love one, and her mom is so sweet so I just had to give her one.

But, they are a bit on the larger size (about 4” at the base), and I have small hands, so they might have been a challenge for me to actually learn to juggle with. A smaller critter might be in order!

So cute. They would also make the most adorable pattern weights.

What a clever solution!
