Junk Journal January 2022 (pic heavy)

I (leisurely) participated in Junk Journal January, the prompt list created by megjournals – no relation . Now that it’s, uh, Junk Journal Posting March, here are all my pages in one place (I posted them in real-er time on the Art Journaling Craftalong - 2022 thread). These are all in my Nancy Drew journal from Ex Libris Anonymous.

How cool that this is a Nancy Drew journal! You thought of so many cool and inventive things to do with each page; thanks for sharing them. (Like the poetry page, envelope page, etc.)
I love how bold and colorful all the pages are, too! Very cool!

“Every beginning comes from some other beginning’s end….” It’s true, and kind of profound. Who could have thought that a pop song about getting the heck out of a bar at the end of the night, before they throw you out, could have such a gem hidden in the lyrics?!?!?

You are clearly having a blast with this! Your pages are really colorful and imaginative!

Thanks, everyone! It was a fun excuse to try a bunch of things out.

I was quite happy with that one, especially considering that there was so much pretty specific dialogue  .

Speaking of hidden gems in the lyrics…

I love the idea of a mystery themed junk journal. I love Trixie Belden and have a book I might be able to use for it.

Also, big props for the “pick heavy” comment. I really takes me back!

I know, or at least sense, that bandwidth and such are less of an issue, but sometimes I feel like a heads-up at least warns people that this will not be a quick scroll .
