After taking a basket weaving workshop in July, I couldn’t wait for the rattan I ordered to arrive so I could get to practicing.
But, because we don’t have a lot of space around here AND i like small things, I ordered the smallest gauge reed I could find.
I haven’t branched out much yet, but I’ve made a few little baskets and started playing around with handles too!

I’ve made one tiny basket and am throughly impressed with your baskets! Basket weaving is fiddly enough without trying to convince the rattan to submit to being in such a small shape. Well done!

Didn’t realize they were that small till I saw the 2nd image. In the 1st image they look like regular-sized baskets. I was staring at that pic first and then got a shock in the 2nd pic!
