Beautiful, Cindy!! I also love the first one, but also the thistle (?) with the blacked out background. Talent!
Amazing variety!
I love the creeping dogwood…but yes, the first one is amazing and my favorite!
They are so gorgeous, all of them! I’m drawn to the intense close-up, as well as that first one…really, all of them are spectacular.
Good eye, it is a thistle. I was so happy with the background, it was a macro photo and my camera blacked everything out when I got the focus right.
Those are some of my favourites to take. How close can I get and still have it in focus.
My neighbour was laughing at me the first spring we lived here as I walked around our yard taking shots of all the flowers I could find. It’s interesting what grows in an old field, some tiny spectacular flowers.
These are just lovely! Nature is truly beautiful and you are capturing awesome images!
Gorgeous! LOVE the colors!
Woohoo!! This fantastic project is featured this week!
These are all incredible images, wow!
Beautiful photos! They really have luscious saturated color. I am also pleased that I was able to name about half of the flowers. What is the yellow flower in the third photo?
It’s a Yellow Lady’s Slipper, a member of the orchid family.
Beautiful. I love flowers and enjoy the close-ups.
Fabulous photos!! They really inspire me to want to try painting them too
I’d like to see them if you do.
