I just watched this video and it made me realize that our sewing machines are automata! What?!! So cool. So SO cool.
You’re right! How cool is that! I’ve often wondered how the bobbin part worked but never bothered to look it up. It really is amazing how a simple cam mechanism completes the stitch.
You do find the coolest things!
