I saw a pattern for this and had to make it! I have four more clasps, so I plan to make more.
They have a little pocket in the back, too.
I haven’t been sewing much lately, but I am hoping to get back into it.

Wow! What a fun way to use that hardware. I think I’ve only seen them in flat coin purses and the like.

Oh! I love how the clasp’s placement makes it open like a lid! You can see the inside so much better this way.

Love it! It would make an excellent mini sewing kit. Where did you find the pattern? I’d like to make some for gifts. I have so many friends who want to learn how to sew & this would make the cutest little encouragement gift.

I found it on Etsy. I will add a link tomorrow when i am back on a computer. They had two versions, one with a small clasp and one with a big one

I’ve never seen anyone use a kiss clasp this way. Clever pattern, and you stitched it so well.
