Knitted French Press Cozy

I’ve been wrapping two quilted mug rugs around my French press for an embarrassing amount of time, but wasn’t motivated to sew something new. Finally I realized I could knit something instead! :light_bulb:

I used this pattern, which worked perfectly. The only change I made was to knit some icord loops as I found I needed something a little sturdier than the yarn by itself.

My husband drilled holes in some wooden discs I had in stash for the buttons. Yarn was leftover from my vessel cowl and I have just a tiny ball left. Yay for stash busting!

That looks so good, and what a great way to keep a little souvenir yarn for yourself  The icords are a brilliant touch!

Your french press looks downright dapper! Making buttons from stashed wooden discs is brilliant. Now I am wondering if french press cozy + cowl is the new dog + human matching bathrobes?

Haha. The cowl went home with my dad so technically we don’t match, otherwise I’d be doing some distinguished portraits with my French press. :face_with_monocle: #missedopportunity

I do. And the press needs a wardrobe!

 It’s always a good idea to have one to use when you have to wash the other. It’s just responsible.
