Knitted Peplum Top and Shrug, but for a Doll

I am constantly using up my scraps of fabric and yarn and will probably be sewing and knitting forever at this rate…but better than sitting in a plastic bin, right?

The top was an easy knit…basically a rectangle that I wove a crochet tie through to make a waist. The neckline and strap are crochet chain. I embellished it with tiny felt flowers and embroidery. There was just enough yarn to make a simple shrug with a crocheted picot edge.

The skirt is a piece of scrap from one of the quilt block swaps…now on to bigger projects…

I really need to start knitting for myself…if I can makeup a pattern for a doll, I should be able to do the same for me! ha ha
