I’ve been trying to work on some small painting pieces whenever I’m stressed to build up my stock of random art for happy mail or STS in the fall.

This was originally supposed to be abstract blobs but then I got a little enthusiastic with my water glazes and blending and decided I wanted a water lilly pond instead. But after I had my water lillies I still wasn’t happy. So I added some koi. I might end up keeping this one for myself because I love it so much and it’s so peacful.

If you don’t keep it, PLEASE put this in STS. I want it to badly! I have a koi pond and love them. This is amazing!!!

It is very restful and yet not simple or lacking in detail. NICE!

Lovely! I think the ripples in the pond are my favorite detail.
