Ladder to the Moon

I was inspired by my partners Pinterest to make this.

I turned a cradleboard backwards to use as a frame. Then I painted glittery paint on the top part. I painted over that so it would just shimmer. Then I flicked some white paint on for stars. I used a round wood piece from my stash for the moon and some Sculpty to make the little house. Last, i painted the ladder.
Although its simple, I thought it was cute. I like that the top part of the sky shimmered, but you canโ€™t see that too well in photos.
and here it is in indirect light. Makes it a little moodier. Ha!

In the indirect light pic the little window looks lit from within- thatโ€™s so cool!

What a fun and whimsical piece! I like how the shimmer shows through the black.

I really love the style of the piece! The backwards cradle board was such a great idea. For me, the tiny house is the best part, and the window truly does look like it is illuminated from within.
