It’s taking me forever because I’m not motivated to just knit, knit, knit. I think I need a more challenging pattern for the next one. I’m hoping to get three done by Xmas! This shawl-along should help!
Thanks friends! Your patterns have been added to the new Knitting Patterns list.
I also took the opportunity to mark all links that only go to Ravelry with a scissors emoji. I know some folks don’t have, and don’t want a Ravelry account. Wherever possible, I linked to a regular website where the pattern was available. When there was no alternative, I linked to Ravelry, and added the scissors.
Me too, that campfire shawl is absolutely gorgeous. And the colour, woo. Love it!

Here is a bit of progress on my Carol shawl…it is knitted and joined as you go, not put together in pieces…I just have to be sure to get the order correct or else it is impossible to go back and fix it…lol…poor thing, I have frogged out more than I have knitted…
I’m working on a shawl right now, but it’s for Ms. Abbee, so I can’t share pictures. But I did put in most of Sunday afternoon on it, and managed 10+ rows. Trying to work in time for it around a few custom bracelet designs I’m working on in my studio.

It really isn’t at all…just plain old knit and purls with some yarn overs thrown in…the hardest part is picking up the stitches to join because I can’t see as well…but I started using stitch markers to help me at least find the midpoints so they are all attached about the same…not going for perfect or it will never get done! lol…the pattern is free on the Berroco site…
