I made this leather covered notebook in the Use What You Have swap. I bound it by hand as well. I used coordinating scrapbook paper for pages- I selected pages that I thought shouldn’t cause too much visual interference if @jeanneleigh wants to write in it, or use it for a junk journal or what have you.

If you bound it yourself, you must have punched holes in the paper and then threaded it together. But HOW did you get it to lay so flat/shut?

I created a cardboard cover and glued the leather to it, including the spine. I clipped it shut when it was drying and that seemed to do the trick
