The sad part is I was gonna put one on my winter coat, but the zipper doesn’t have an opening for pulls. NOOOO! Lol

DRILL IT! for serious!!! I would drill a hole in the base. It’s thin enough it wouldn’t be hard to punch through.
pull the zip all the way down, so the base is free.and put it over a wood block, or whatever. it’s small enough the drill wouldn’t whip it around. but you could clamp it for safety reasons. SAFETY FIRST!!
