That’s soo cool!
Im so glad you like it! I love the cats i got in return.
Ummmmm that is the coolest cat picture ever, @Gozer! It has so much personality and joy in every line.
I love this cat. I squealed when I opened it and asked my husband 5 times, “Did you see see this? I mean did you really look at it?” Lol
I’m glad you liked the cats I painted. They were fun to make.
Wow @gozer, that cat is awesome!! I love the colours, the mood, the style, everything!!
Excellent!!
@Manders and I did a personal swap. I asked for some art to leave around the city as a random act of kindness/abandoned art. She made two adorable dragon charms which I’m sure will be quickly snapped up! She also sent an awesome watercolor sketchbook and a funny little pin of a chick holding a butcher knife (which my daughter stole).
Thank you for an awesome swap, Amanda!
Hey Gull Friend.
Happy the swap with you!
I see you appreciated the pun.
YOU GUYS!! Check out the gorgeous piece @Tapestry made for me!!
Seriously, just look at all of those gorgeous colors and all the little details! The under lighting of the tree’s canopy, the steps, the rocks and grass. I think I audibly gasped when I opened it I wish you all could see it in person the colors are just amazing and the picture doesn’t do them justice.
And she also made me this super cute otter brush holder who is absolutely going on my art desk as soon as I finish posting this!
Thank you SO much Jenn!!! Now I have swap anxiety
Oh and I almost forgot to post a picture of the box!
Wow, what gorgeous things!! Amazing detail, these are fabulous!
So glad you liked everything! I’ll make a post for the painting. It’s from a Ruth Wilshaw tutorial. Her work is so dreamy.
My daughter teased me mercilessly about that salamander on the box because he’s colored with crayons and I messed up his tail a bit. But the box was so plain! It was begging for a bit of art.
I received an amazing swap package from @photojenn today! She utterly spoiled me and it was like an endless box of goodies!
First, a gorgeous pan pastel and colored pencil turtle for my mom. I can’t wait to give this to her for Mother’s Day - she’ll adore it!
Next up, a lovely watercolor card which was inspired by a tutorial from Nianiani and my very own set of Gansai Tambi watercolors! Eeeeee! I’ve been wanting to try these for the last year but hadn’t picked up a set. I can’t wait to use them!
And then an absolute treasure trove: 3D printed fidget toys, an adorable hedgehog bowl I will absolutely be using as my go-to snack bowl from now on, a shiny dragon egg (which screws open so you can hide treasure inside), art masking tape, and several pencils and pens for me to play with (including my first blackwing!), plus three samples of gouache and watercolor.
That little cube is the tiniest infinity cube I’ve ever seen. It fits in my pocket and is so darn cute and quiet and perfect to keep my fingers busy during meetings.
Thank you for an amazing swap pacakge, @photojenn!
The turtle is absolutely wonderful! I like that it was done on the side like that…looks like it swam across the front of the camera underwater!
You two have the best time with your art supplies! What a fun and endless hobby to find the tools and goodies to make art!
What a fantastic swap you two had!! Everything is beautiful!!
Oops, wrong thread!
@Manders made me the most gorgeous bird hoop earrings. Aren’t they perfect for summer? I adore huge earrings and bright, vibrant colors. Thank you, Manders!
Great colors!!!
