I joined the Light It Up Swap and I’m not gonna lie, I struggled for a bit. But then I had a great idea (not this item) but then I had another great idea and decided to do something with my partners theme of deserts.
I decided to paint the desert at night and in order to get my canvas to shine, I poked holes through it and stuck the lights through the canvas. I hot glued them to keep them in place.
Utterly charming, the lights throw such starlike shapes & shadows!

This is beautiful! Great idea.
The painting is beautiful on its own, but it is next level with the glowing “stars”! 
It looks amazing in a dimly lit area and really evokes a calm night in the desert.
