I’m a big fan of Andre Hyland, an actor, writer, director and artist. I love his cat, Lionel, so I thought I would draw him. I don’t do pet portraits at all, but I think I may start! 4x6 watercolor.

If your local animal shelter offers Pet Portraits by artists as a fundraiser, you should totally volunteer to do some. Our neighborhood one does it twice a year, and we have donated in the past to get some of our dogs. We love them.

I actually have my Instagram only for cats! I’ve made a lot of kitty furriends, and we even exchange Christmas cards! The cats of Instagram community is so nice, and I know a lot have commissioned portraits over the years. I bet you’d do great!
