Mothers Day kind of snuck up on me this year, so I had to come up with something fairly quick to make, but still handmade for our moms’ cards.
I looked through my vast and categorized Sizzix Pinboard to get ideas and found one that inspired these. I didn’t want to totally assembly -line them, so they are different papers and different orientations of slimline format and not exactly the same bird dies for both.
Birds and branches are cut with dies, flowers cut with a punch and “curled” with ball stylus on foam. One branch on each is double-layered and its bird is attached with adhesive foam for some dimension.
A simple stamped sentiment for the interior.
