Little Cthulhu

Continuing on my little crochet-learnin journey, I decided I should try reading patterns more, instead of watching videos or just making stuff up…
I found a little book that was available on Libby so I borrowed it and tried the first pattern that appealed to me.
It’s cute!

*Disclaimer; I do NOT personally recommend the book. The photos are really cute, but the patterns are all basically the same body/head with lots of confusing unnecessary things that felt less efficient than they could be. There also weren’t any detailed photos or illustrations for a lot of things that could have been helpful (such as placement of these wings when there wasn’t even a photo of the back of the completed doll).

But in case anyone wants to check it out, it’s Creepy Cute Crochet by Christen Haden.
Now that I know some of the quirks in these instructions, I might try one or two more of these before I return it, but in general, I feel kind of meh about them.

What a cute Cthulhu! I really need to start learning crochet while my joints still work…

Thanks for the review of the book. I’ll know to avoid this one as a newbie.
