I saw a cute little basket in the most recent basket swap. It was made by @Practicute for her first swap. It turned out really nice . She provided a link to a video so I decided to try it since I like making baskets of all kinds.
I used two pieces of duck cloth and interfaced both the outside and the lining. Pretty fast and simple. It is on the small side, so handy for a ball of yarn or some hand stitching.
I sewed buttons on the curved sides to hold the shape a bit more.

Appreciate the link! There are so many tutorials that I get overwhelmed!
I really like all the ones where you take a circle and turn it into a wallet or pouch and now a basket!
I don’t think you can use layers that are too thick, though. It was a booger trying to sew those bottom seams…it was 12 layers thick! But, I’ll probably make it again! So fun and easy!
