Ok! It’s finished .The neck piece is just bad, and my applying the bias tape blows mount Vesuvius, but at least the puckering sort of matches both sides, . Am still debating if I want to sew one more line around the neck to force the neck facing down. . I feel really good today, so maybe I’ll just run over there and try it on her before I do any more.
I find taking the dohickey off the watchamacallit makes it so much easier for getting my fingers closer to the thingamabob for when I was attaching the bias tape.

When I sew binding on my quilts, I like to use a zipper foot to help me get my seam really close to the edge. I put the foot up against my binding and adjust the needle so that it’s at the edge of the binding.
