I don’t actually like lima beans. To be perfectly honest, when I first made these, I was trying to make peas. Which if I am even more honest I don’t actually like either (OK. I hate canned peas, can choke down frozen peas but will eat fresh peas, sugar snaps and snow peas.)
If you work with fleece, you know it stretches. So when you make a perfect circle in fleece and you stuff it, it becomes… well… not a perfect circle.
There are ways to fix it. But I kind of like it’s crazy imperfect lima bean shape. Plus, when I first started making these, there were almost no other plushie ones to be found. So I keep them just the way they are.
