Little Pennant Bunting Birthday Card Enclosure

I wanted to include a little something in a store-bought birthday card. That card has pennant buntings on the front, so I decided to use this steel rule die to cut some!

All the papers are from a pad of printed cardstock. One of her favorite flowers is hydrangea, so I went for it. The print with the white background was impossible to get a row of three that had the blooms on them. So I fussy cut a couple for those and attached with adhesive foam.

Since I rediscovered my tear away dies, I decided to make a packet to put it in and use that die.

The paper is from the same pad. I stamped a message that will show when the strip is pulled back.

The “packet” is an envelope made with a We R Makers envelope punch board and then just totally glued shut. I used a set of stamps I have with little directions, to label the pull tab part.

I hope these add a bit of fun to her day!

Adorable bunting! You’re getting great use of that pull strip doo-dad!

Thanks! I am slightly obsessed with those dies! I think they’re a nice addition to my options for making things interactive.
