For the Camp Nerd Games Arts and Crafts Club this month, the required supply was a (provided) round cookie cutter. Instead of doing anything normal with it, I decided it needed to be the base for a DIY Spirograph.
I originally punched various sizes of circles out of an old tea box and made pen holes with my awl, though I quickly realized 1) the discs were too thin to stay inside the ring and 2) round templates in a round ring just draw circles.
Despite the smeariness and uneven patterning (turns out the teeth and raised templates of the real Spirograph are clutch), I’m pretty happy with it as a proof of concept. Thanks for looking!
