My kids both love D&D (and as I have mentioned my daughter is having a D&D themed birthday this year). While we were at our local game store, we saw some necklaces that held a D20 (a 20 sided die). My kids though they were cool. I thought, hmmmm I bet I could make that. When we got home I looked online for a tutorial for a macrame dice necklace and I couldn’t find one. Eventually it occurred to me to look for a macrame crystal necklace instead. I ended up using this tutorial https://www.marchingnorth.com/interchangeable-macrame-crystal-necklace/ . It uses a lot of embroidery thread, but it wasn’t too hard. You just have to be careful to make the knots the right distance apart to fit the die (and check frequently as you go). The die is easy to remove, making it a fun game day accessory. I added sliding knots so the length can be adjusted.
Very cool necklace!

That is sooo clever! I love that the color matches the die So perfectly.
Thanks for posting the link. I’m bookmarking it to make something similar on vacation for things my daughter collects during our hikes.

That is a great idea! It is pretty versatile, different spacing between the knots can make it work for a ton of different objects.

So cool! Neat way to show off her love of the game even when she is out and about.
