My daughter is having a D&D themed birthday party this year. She wanted to have a potion making drinks bar for her friends. So I got some big bottles of sparkling water for them and some Italian syrups. The syrups didn’t look particularly magical, and I wanted to minimize over-syruped drinks (as much as you can with adolescents) so I transferred the syrup to these smaller bottles. They are a set of bottles that an olive oil and vinegar sampler came in that I emptied and cleaned. I like that they both look like small potion vials and that they have a more restricted top for pouring. They are also small enough that if a kid uses the whole bottle it is not a disaster (though it would still be way too much sugar for one reasonable drink
). I found some fun fantasy potion labels on etsy and printed them on sticker paper. I also printed the actual flavor to stick on the bottom. After much careful cutting, filling, and sticking, we have this rainbow of flavors for the kids to use.
What fun for the kids!
They are going to love this! You really went the extra mile to make it super cool.
This is a very cool party theme detail! Plus, it’s interactive.
I bet those are delicious!
These are so fun and look fantastic. I’m sure the kids will love mixing drinks with them and making their own drinks.
What a great idea!
My kid loves themed parties, I’ll have to keep this in mind.
This is great!
(we just had a D&D b-day party, but all I made was dice bags…)
Dice bags are awesome! (and just as much work
). Did you run an adventure at the party? Or have other fun things to do?
My husband found a one-shot murder mystery for them, which went wildly off the rails– they took an hour and a half to do the intro fight against 4 kobolds & an illusory dragon, utterly failed to solve the mystery, and had a glorious time.

That sounds typical of a D&D session, and so fun!
Sorry to hijack the wrong post, but my brain will melt and forget before I find the right post….. Did you post a tutorial for the dice bags?
