Maker ... a wonky word mini quilt

I did a word swap on IG last summer and my partner wanted the word MAKER in wonky letters in bright colours. The M, K and R were patterns but the A and E were my own creations. The recipient said it was exactly what she imagined.

I love how you used multiple fabrics to make each letter, it’s clear that you put a lot of work into this! The ‘k’ is my favorite!

I use this term constantly to describe what I do and how I feel.

I like the e. :metal:

I need to check out some IG swaps!

The A is my favourite with the K a close second.

I sure did and, sadly, this was my second one because the post office lost the first one.

Another craft to add to my to-try-list!!

I love the look of it, the wonky letters, the colours and how you used different techniques (applique and paperpiecing, right?) Anyway I love it!

Appliqué, paper piecing and reverse appliqué on the A. It was fun doing so many different things.
