I don’t know about all settings, but I’m pretty sure birthday is an optional input. So a person who doesn’t want their birthday displayed can leave it/take it out of their settings.

Birthdays don’t have to show up…just go to your profile and hit the little X’s…lol…at least there is no year…

I was running ad copy through Litmus for the man a few month ago, you’d be amazed how things look across platforms. There is so little consistency, it’s really something!
