Mario 3d printed star

I 3d printed this mario star, I love how it turned out, but the base is too little. I think I might cut it off and let the star sit on the top by itself. I also might try and get hubby to add lights around it. But I could’nt wait to share ots too pretty. I used a varigated metallic PLA and it turned out perfect to make it look like its been activated
The pattern was a free one I found online that I enlarged 160%.

This is such a fun tree topper. It’s always interesting to see the way a variegated medium works out and I love the way the rainbow colors were so perfectly distributed for this project!
