Mask Keepers

I’ve been making these mask keepers since I got vaccinated. I realized that when I went places where I had to take the mask on and off (eating at an outside venue, running errands, etc.) I didn’t want to have to dig around my purse for it. So, I made these keepers using sewing clips. After a few, I realized I should use jump rings to attach to this way when this is finally over, they can be repurposed to glasses holders or badge lanyards. They are strung on waxed linens and knotted between beads. I forgot to take pics of some of them. But, these two are mine and the other skull one was for the vintage Halloween swap.

What a great solution to such an of-the-now problem! And so smart to make them convertible for another use later on.

I love it because I hate fishing around in my purse or pocket for it. Little skulls are my fave too!

Nifty and handy too!

I like the clippy bit-- I’ve been tying yarn or ribbon to my child’s masks for this, but maybe I should make her something fancy.

Smart! I’ve been wanting something like this for ages, the clips are so clever.
