My daughter has bad arthritis in her knees, so she can’t wear fancy shoes with her dresses, just certain flats. So, I made her these for her birthday, to fancy things up a bit.
I used this pattern https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=6090&cid=17 though, I didn’t do the middle pattern as I didn’t want them as tall. Hope she likes them.

Funny how we had plain black shoes but fancy socks…lol…and now, I wear plain black shoes and fancy socks again…it is true…we go back to being a child when we get old! lol

Oh yes, the black patent leather mary janes with lacy socks for church. And special ones for Easter. And usually the MJs were too small by Easter, but mom made us wear them anyway.
