Mini Book of Manu

Back in October, and alongside my birdtober stones, I started filling this tiny sketchbook with little watercolor and ink illustrations of native birds from Hawaii. I included all the birds on our local list, and added some more here and there to fill the whole book. I finally finished it!
There are 43 different species represented.

I liked carrying this tiny book around. It fit in a pencil case, with a travel brush and some tiny palettes, so I often had it with me in case I had a chance to paint.

Since videos don’t really work here, I hope it’s okay if I just go ahead and put photos of them all there. :upside_down_face:

Wow! This is wonderful! Now you’ll have to choose another subject - flowers? Fruit? Tourists?

What a fantastic project! It seems like all the “parts” worked together to make this little book come to fruition.

I hope it’s okay if I just go ahead and put photos of them all there. :upside_down_face:

This is the perfect use for the grid feature!

Absolutely gobsmacked. I could spend hours in that teeny tiny book. What a treasure it is.
