Mini collages on cradle board

I made 2 collages recently for different swaps. Both swaps had to fit in a small flat rate box.

All papers are hand painted/decorated by me

This one was for @Kwality570 and is on a 4x4” cradle board that is about 3/4-1” thick.

This one was for @Abbeeroad and is 5x5” and really thin, 1/2 inch or less. I’m not sure I would buy such thin cradle boards again, a couple in the package came broken.

And I used the same color palette to make some collaged notecards

I love mine so much! The white triangles and gold swirls are perfection and I really love that strip of script. I have the art piece in my dining room for now and am hoarding the cards for worthy recipients.

Both of those are lovely but I adore the second one because the colors are so perfect together. The cards are just as beautiful! You have such a great eye for balance and composition.

These are all fab - but I have to admit those notecards…. :star_struck::heart_eyes:

I absolutely love mine (I even gasped in excitement when I opened the package) but really like the other one you did too!

Did you adhere everything with mod podge? Sometimes mod podge feels sticky in the summer humidity and the cradle board definitely does not so I’m curious.

Nope, it’s way too humid in NC for mod podge - it just stays tacky. I use matte medium mostly, gel medium for heavier papers, and then went over top yours with iridescent medium.
