Windows’ little doodle image hinted to me that today in Donut Day, so I had to make some.
Pretty simple mini donuts, in my multicake (sort of like a waffle maker with changeable plates).
Tried to glaze them, but didn’t have enough confectioner sugar, they just drank the glaze and became sticky. So, I dipped them in sugar and cinnamon.
They turned out very sweet, so they go well with a cup of tea.

Fresh out of the machine, they crisp up a bit on the outside.
The next day, they lose the crispiness, and the inside texture is a bit closer to a fried donut (just a bit). Both ways are yummy.

I need to use this machine more often. Off to figure out what other recipes to try
