Here’s a little tutorial for a polymer clay pumpkin pie. I started with a mini pie pan and cut a circle of beige clay to fit it. A rope of the same clay was added around the edge and fluted with a round toothpick then baked.
I added pumpkin colored clay inside the baked crust and textured it with a ball of foil followed by a toothbrush.
The pie got baked again then painted with some watered down brown acrylic paint around the edges and topped with a dollop of white clay that I pressed through a cake decorating tip I stole from my kitchen.
What a delicious looking tiny pie - heck, all the items on that dessert table look tasty!
Your tutorial is great - well written and concise! If ever I make an itty bitty pie, I’ll definitely consult this post.
Oh, my tiny goodness! This is so dang cute and real-looking! Thanks so much for sharing the tutorial, which really does make it seem doable. That dessert table looks like one I’d sidle up to for sure. I’d love to know more about that other pie, too.
