Miniature transformation

I found this table at dollar tree, and like its proportions. It’s very basic and needed some personality, so I gave it a paper clay makeover for my Spanish mission project.

That is so cool! I have been wondering how best to tart up those plain wooden minis from the $-store. What a great idea!

Thanks all!
The planned scene is Zorro performing a little payback in a wealthy home. Lots of Spanish and Mexican inspired bits and pieces, and of course Zorro and his Z!

I’ve worked out the floor plan and am building a 1/4" scale practice building (from cereal boxes, my favorite craft material) to check proportions before making the final in 1" scale.I

I’ll post favorite items as they’re finished, then post the finished item when done. It’s part of the theme display for the Tucson Miniature Show in October, hope you come see it in person!

Oh wow, I would love to come and see your miniature scene there!
