Miniature Witchy Market

I finally finished a project I can share with you guys. I’ve been working on this occult goods market forever. Well, since last November. It was a lot of fun figuring out how to make magical things in dollhouse scale.

Those devotional candles on the top shelf have melt and pour soap inside. I was sure if I tried to use wax I’d make a huge mess of it! The crystals display on the bottom shelf are from a jar of tiny pebbles I sorted through.

The black scrying mirrors on the left side are cabochons painted with black nail polish on the flat side. The smudge sticks are made from preserved sheet moss.

It’s finished with decorated brooms and some fun posters. Any questions, feel free to ask!

Wow, the details are amazing! I think the first thing I noticed were those teeny tiny smudge sticks (mind blown)

Thank you! They’re just dried moss and thread. I think I may have used a bit of white glue on my fingers to help shape them.

WOW-EE! This looks like it took months and you gotter done in plenty of time for witchy season, as well. The details are amazing. Soap for the candles was genius and those tiny pebbles in the tray are so perfect. Your use of charms and finders is so great, too!

What’s inside the little jars? Do I spy some salts? Sands?

They’re meant to be bath salts with special intentions.

Cool! But what’s inside?

Ahhh (sorry)! It’s something called soft flake snow. I mixed it with all kind of stuff like turf grass, flower soft and stuff from my pantry like herbs and herbal tea.

Your little scene is amazing! I’m always fascinated how some artists on this site are able to create miniature versions of things. So cool!

This is such a charming little scene! The choice and placement of your background papers really add to the scene. I especially like the variety of crystal balls to choose from.
I am always impressed by your ability to create such lovely miniature scenes!

Thank you! The paper is from Stamperia. I think the pad is called Fortune. It really is perfect for this little market.
