I’m participating in the Mastering Mixed Media event (thanks @Tapestry for telling us about it!) and I did this tutorial with Michelle Nyberg. Her style is quite different from mine so it was a stretch but a good challenge. I used paper for the background and torn paper for some of the foliage. I have some green handmade paper with bits of fiber (grass?) in it that blended perfectly. I also used acrylic paints and .3 mm LePen dark color pens. Her technique uses actual leaves that are painted with acrylic paints and then hand printed on the painting.
This is really beautiful! I love the little pops of red amongst the green and the texture!
