I’ve been doing the Watch.Learn.Play. preview this week and we’ve been making lots of mixed media backgrounds using prompts and making them into postcards.

I love the vibrant colors you used and they have a pleasing composition. I think my favorite is the one with the three large vertical pink circles. I’m envisioning these much much larger-- a huge canvas!

What size are the backgrounds?
9x12”, then cut down to 4.5x6” for postcards.
Yes! I’ve been trying to think of where I could put a canvas to work on, I think it would be fun to work on a large piece.

these are all fantastic. yours came out much brighter than mine. Maybe I need more tubes of paint!
I esp like the next to bottom one with those moody circles.
I mean, we always need more tubes of paint :). I did scan mine which I think helps them look brighter because it removes all of the shadows.
