This is one I started a few weeks back, and is a constant reminder as to how much I miss my other computer, heh. This is tiny compared to what it really needs to be.
Anyway, I cut out a lot of it and shrunk it enough so people can still see the branches. The image itself really needs to be about 20000 pixels wide at the least, 50-60,000 would be best. There’s just no way this computer would be able to do that, heh.
I really got this idea during one morning I was awake and saw how colorful the sky was. Then I found a brush that made the clouds almost like that. I just edit it when the moment strikes me.

Added a little more to the top middle branch. (Didn’t have to shrink this one, it’s the actual size of this part of the image, heh).
One thing I might mention, I have the size of the brush fairly large. Between 30 to 40 pixels wide. I’m doing it this way as a way to train my hand for applying the appropriate pressure for drawing, and I’m getting rather good at that, too, heh. So that means I don’t have to worry about constantly changing the size of the brushes. I can leave it at one size, and my hand will be trained to press as hard as I need for whatever it is I’m drawing.
. Definitely getting the hang of it. Plus, I may want to redo some of the branches, heh, but I won’t worry about that on this image. It’s just something to work on once in a while.
Whoa! I really like how the fence came out.
. The tops aren’t all that great, but the rest of them, wowzers (as Inspector Gadget would say, heh).
Every part of this will be placed into its own layer, that way so if I want to change anything, I’ll be able to go back and modify it without having to worry about messing up any other part of the image.
