Muppet Show, Tonight!

I was gunna wait to post this until I could paint the frame black, but I’ve been working on soo many creative projects, I’d thought I’d share this before I forgot.

I grew up loving the Muppets (Gonzo is my fave) so when I got the idea to draw some Muppets, the whole idea came into place. I don’t know the finished size, but it’s all watercolors and crayon, baby! Hope you enjoy!!

I grew up on The Muppets too! I love this!
Muppets in Space were my favorite of the skits, and I love Gonzo too.

I like this! I didn’t grow up watching the muppets, but my husband did and he’s shown me some funny skits! Are you going to do Swedish Chef? The chocolate mousse/moose skit is my favorite. :joy:

I feel like Rowlf is underrated, so I’m really tickled you’ve elevated him like this. And now I have the sudden urge to watch Muppet Treasure Island this weekend.

Oh man, does that take me back.

Heh, mine, too. I still call myself a weirdo in reference to Gonzo. Even named a stray many years ago Weirdo, and a kitten that I’m certain was his, Gonzo. Heh!

What a delight! Muppets are the perfect way to use this frame. Harkens right back to that opening of the show when they’re all in those little “windows” by the end of the song. Perfect that Statler and Waldorf are in little boxes as the top.
