Very nice!! It looks so fun to ride. My own bike is not vintage but retro and it’s a joy to ride it. Did you get a new saddle and handlebars? The white looks so sparkly.
@Immaculata everything white except the pedals is new. The pedals were surprisingly easy to clean. I also replaced the old single speed brake hub with a internal 3-gear freewheel hub.

After 7 years of seeing what most people buy in bikes for their kids (at least here in the US), I have to say I really like your choices. Internal gear hubs are great for kids. My husband has a 13 gear internal hub on one of his bikes and it is super low maintenance. I have seen only a few kid bikes with internal gear hubs here (all 3 speed) and they were also purchased by very bike-smart parents.
When my oldest one was little I was so disappointed of what you can buy in terms of kids bikes. They were mostly ugly and the setup was a lot worse than what I remembered from my bikes as a kid. Thanks to my dad the second bike I owned was a mixte
It’s a lot better now but most parents just don’t care. I try not to get angry when I see kids on poorly adjusted bikes trying to keep up with their parents on electric bikes. I mean they don’t even think enough to stay behind their kids when riding a bike
