Why have I never tried this before??? It was so much fun and very easy.
I picked ferns from under the pines, bits of what I think are balsam, and barberry fruits which are still nice and bright and firm in the back field.
I was prepared to haul it outside to freeze, then realized it would easily fit in my li’l top freezer.
I will be doing this a ton more before spring arrives.
