I made this bookmark for @Tapestry in the Bookmark swap. I went with her fairytale creatures theme. I stretched the theme a little to include mythology! LOL! I included a quote about the hippocampus, just because I thought it was kinda cool. This is water color and marker, done on watercolor paper.

I would be scared to use it as a bookmark though. I’d hate for it to get worn out, I’d hang it up on my wall though. 
I love it so much and am a huge mythology fan, plus I love the Percy Jackson series so a hippocampus is right up my alley! And this beauty is definitely going on my art wall. I couldn’t bear hiding it in a book!
