We made it home. He is very big angry at the e-collar. I’m crying because I feel so bad for my baby.

Hi, everyone! @storerboughtcreation, @Smeddley, and I are sharing some news! At their request, I’ll be taking the reigns as head gamemaker for the Nerd Games beginning next season. They’ll still be around and helping out! Things will pretty much stay the same – fun themes and activities, teams, points, and prompts every season, and of course, lots of reasons to craft! I’ll make announcements if or when anything changes in the future.
We just wanted to let you know, since you’ll be seeing me post the main thread and doing other admin. If you have ideas or suggestions for the Nerd Games, please feel free to send them my way anytime!
I’d personally like to thank @storerboughtcreation and @Smeddley for all of the time, thought, energy, and consideration in keeping the Nerd Games up, running, and flourishing the past several years! I’m so grateful for all of your efforts.

You will see us around still! I’ll be doing the
tracking as I did on Cster and here, and Smeddley will still be assisting with prompts, but after discussing it, @Smeddley and I felt that we just lack the time and energy to breathe new ideas into the games, and @LovelyMiss has brought life and excitement over the past few years. So when she happily accepted taking back the reins, we were all happy. 
I am so happy @roler introduced me to you wonderful crafters all those years ago! And for those of you that were with us back in the Cster days and survived the short-lived jump to MeWe and then continued on in our new beautiful home, thank you! And for you newer nerds, I’m so glad you found us and share your wonderful crafty prowess with us

Thank you all for a kick-butt Fall Nerd Games season! Make sure to have all projects posted and all prize and pin claim forms submitted by 11:59 pm central tonight! Thank you to @Smeddley and @storerboughtcreation for keeping the games alive, and thank you to @LovelyMiss for picking up the reins again! Even though my craft time has drastically decreased in the past few years, I love that the games keep on providing inspiration!
I’m making a concerted effort to carve out more time for creative pursuits, which includes time to finally get my craft room under control so I have a dedicated space to work (although crochet projects will probably happen on the living room sofa). It will also help me to actually use my VERY abundant craft stash.
I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the extra prompts this season, and even though I did have ideas for most of them, they time and energy to complete them all just didn’t align. It also didn’t help that my sewing machine stopped working. So, I am going to post what I have, submit any pin claim forms, finish my book, and head to bed (I flew home this morning, and didn’t sleep well last night).
I’m excited for the new season!

Okay, I was so excited last night to see that the 2026 Winter Games prompts were posted that I set up my tracking list and wrote & posted my goals.
When I reviewed the Pin Events and Goals information this morning, I realized that I was only supposed to post ONE goal per month. Whew! I was already worried that I had painted myself into a corner with my goals, so I was very happy to go back and edit them

I realized when I started to plan things out how strategic I was going to have to be, So it was a huge relief to realize I had done it wrong 
And, I always have a longer list than I actually can do… maybe the opposite tactic is what I need. Little lists = big success!

I hope to be home next week from my unexpectedly long visit to the glamorous Mayo “resort”. I had so much stuff from last year that didn’t get posted, thanks to all my lounging about, full-body treatments and 24 hour leg massages. Oh, and adorable yellow grippy-socks! 
BUT I’ll be excited to be posting up starting hopefully soon!

I hope you do get to come home next week! Hospital stays are never fun. I can deal with the socks (as terribly sexy and comfy as they are 
) it’s the being woken up every other hour for nurse checks, the constant noise, and the general hospital smell that drive me bats. Hugs and healing thoughts headed your way!
