For the August Arts and Crafts Club project over in the Nerd Games, we’re decorating peg dolls.

Some background: Part of another challenge this NG season involves crafting “a food toy.” As I was trying to figure out how I could spin my peg dolls as kids meal toys, my brain was like, “make it Ronald McDonald?” And here we are.

I considered Grimmace or maybe the Hamburglar for the other doll, but as the plans for Ronald escalated rapidly (at that point I intended to paint a cotton ball for his hair), I decided to keep the other one fairly simple. So now it’s a generic kids meal figurine from [insert IP here] :laughing:.

Ha! I know how this goes, lol. Sometimes I have to force myself to take a step back so I can continue to enjoy my craft and not get bogged down by time consuming details.

I love your idea of using the August craft to fulfill the food prompt toy and the Ronald McDonald base is perfection!
