Nerd Games - Summer Camp 2025

As seems to happen every season, my aspirational intentions to keep up with posting throughout the months didn’t happen. So here are a ton of projects!

Prompt: July - Cabin Pride
Team: Cabin Stargazers
Project Name: Black and White Junk Journal Page
Project Link: Color-Themed Junk Journal Pages
Brief Description: I made this for the junk journal page swap. It includes stuff related to outer space, but also black and white is like stars in the night sky. More info and photos in the link.

Project Photo(s):

Prompt: July - Mess Hall

Prompt: July - Camp Friends
Team: Cabin Stargazers
Project Name: Purple Junk Journal Page

Project Photo(s):

Prompt: July - Jamboree
Team: Cabin Stargazers
Project Name: Duck bracelets 1
Project Link:
Brief Description: I went to a wedding at a music festival. Rubber ducks are like the bride’s mascot. I made a ton of bracelets to give out with themed beads. I think I made 50 in total. A few were already handed out by the time I took photos.

Project Photo(s):

Prompt: August - Cabin Pride
Team: Cabin Stargazers
Project Name: Duck bracelets 2
Project Link:

Project Photo(s):

Prompt: August - Mess Hall
Team: Cabin Stargazers
Project Name: Salmon dinner
Project Link:
Brief Description: I made this on the fly because we were starving. I didn’t follow a recipe, and mostly just dumped a whole bunch of stuff together for the sauce. Even the pile of veggies was a "what’s in the fridge? moment). It was all a mystery! The biggest being, “Is this going to taste good?” And I can firmly say…it was pretty alright.

Project Photo(s):

Prompt: August - Fun and Games
Team: Cabin Stargazers
Project Name: Duck bracelets 3
Project Link:
Brief Description: My favorite indoor activity is crafting. Period. So I assume it would be the same at camp, haha!

Team: Cabin Stargazers
Project Name: Macrame Rainbow

Project Photo(s):
