The game is 2-4 players, but can also work with one person as just a logic game, and there’s also an expansion pack which has two more player boards to increase players to 6.

The original August postcard @Bunny1kenobi sent me arrived today. The replacement card (that she totally didn’t have to send but was greatly appreciated and made my day!) arrived waaaaay before the original. Our postal service is very messed up. I got a second dose of happy mail!

Event - Campfire
I could certainly share a playlist or twelve, but I had an exciting near disaster today so I thought I’d go with that. I was making the potions above and the last step is to seal the top with sealing wax. I pulled out my kit, but lo and behold I have one tiny stub of gold and that’s it. Definitely not enough for 3 whole bottle tops. Fortunately, I remembered my son got a sealing kit as a present last year so I snagged his wax (with permission). I lit the stick and started dripping. It seemed a little reluctant, but every wax is a little different, no biggie. Then it reached it’s critical temperature or something and started dripping a lot faster and then the wax drips were dripping and staying on fire! 
And then the whole top of the bottle was on fire. And then the edge of the leather wrap caught and started burning too. So yeah, big fireball kind of out of nowhere. 
Anyway, I managed to blow it out, trim off the leather wrap end, and the second time went better, but it was more excitement than I signed up for there for a few minutes.

Mr SBC and I just finished watching all six Final Destination movies. This sounds like a scene that could be in one of those. I’m glad your fireball didn’t get out of hand and you’re still here to craft with us!

ADVENTURE CLUB
- I’m grateful that we are getting a huge rain right now! The desert has been so thirsty.
- I’m grateful for my husband, who keeps me sane, and loves me even when I’m NOT.
- I’m grateful for my job. Not only does it help pay my bills (and fund my crafting obsession and swap fun with my awesome LC friends ), but it’s helped to make it possible to have some lovely adventures, like visiting @gozer a couple of years ago, a trip back to Canada (land of my birth) for the first time in decades, and the ability to see my grandbabies more often!
- I’m grateful for my faith, which helps me make sense of the craziness we live in, and inspires me to work on being a better person (I need a LOT of work- fortunately, God is graciously forgiving)!
Yes I know that’s 4 things. I’m an overachiever.

I’ve been hecka SICK the past couple of weeks, but am finally trying to crawl out of the hole!
Hopefully everyone got their August postcards in the mail for Postcard Club! If not, make sure to do so ASAP. I know a couple folks need to send late and have been in communication - just get them sent out before the end of the month, please!
