Book Fair Event
Three books loved in childhood:
- A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett - I must have read that book a dozen times. I was obsessed with the drama of it all.
- The Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright - I loved the creepy ghost mystery aspect and this book was a gateway drug to the cozy mysteries I read in adulthood.
- Remember Me by Christopher Pike - this was a fave as a teen. Because ghosts. And murder. I clearly have a book type.
Three books loved as an adult:
- Hedgehog Howdedo by Lynley Dodd - hordes of adorable hedgehogs, cute prose, and lovely artwork. I love this book and read it to my kids often.
- Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews - I’ve reread this series so many times. It’s an amazing Urban Fantasy book with a kickass heroine, fantastic world building, and a smoldering slow-burn romance.
- The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osmond - the best cozy mystery ever written. Twisty plot, unforgettable characters. I adore it.
