This cupboard was a freebie and I felt like I needed more counter space (and therefore more cupboard space) in my kitchen. So after 2 years of having this sit on the patio, I finally got around to painting it. It was originally white and all of my kitchen cupboards are black, so I didn’t want it to look too out of place.
After painting the exterior and doors I got contact paper for the interior. Mostly because I was tired of waiting for paint to dry! Ugh. Interminable.
Nice job! You say it’s not perfect, but in the pictures it looks really good. I like that the inside is different from the outside.
Also, what a good way to update your kitchen without spending a lot of money. Everyone knows you can never have too much counter or cupboard space!

After seeing how long it takes to dry between coats of primer and paint, I would have no patience either! More space in the kitchen is always good. I love the color. My kitchen is currently being painted a dark gray…I hope I like it when it is done…no turning back now! ha
