New wrap for an old friend

It’s off the loom, fringe twisted and finished (just need to put a label on it)
As I do love to name all my wrap creations, I am going to name this one in honour of the person I am gifting it to.
Ta da… introducing “Sugartits”
Woven on a 24" ashford rigid heddle.
4ply merino yarn and a 12.5dpi reed.

It is beautiful! Do you actually have to weave those little lines of color or it it the yarn? I love those random bits…they really add movement and interest…nice muted pairing of colors!

:flushed: please tell me that’s not your friend’s real name

It’s just a variegated yarn.
If I use a variegated I start with that as the base and then lift colours out and match the solids with it.

I love how sketchy the background lines came out! This wrap is beautiful. I love the colors, and the lines, and the name is too funny!

I love that bi the variegated stripe (in both direction), it give that plaid some extra movement.
